This past December, music students from Winthrop and Shore Road treated their classmates to musical performances in an effort to spread holiday cheer.

Additionally, in a time-honored tradition, Shore Road students in the select band, chorale and chamber ensemble spent many extra hours rehearsing to bring their annual show on the road to Nassau University Medical Center. The musicians performed for patients on the rehabilitation floor and in the main lobby of the hospital to spread holiday cheer to all.

Favorites included “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” and “Jingle Bells” performed by the select band, “Let It Snow” and “Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree” sung by the chorale, and “Santa Baby” and “Jingle Bell Rock” performed by the chamber ensemble.
