School pride was on full display during the annual sixth-grade College Olympics on Feb. 12 and 13 at Shore Road School.

Hosted by physical education teachers Ari Bisk and Brian Scott, the event grouped students by their class, with each team representing a college or university including Michigan, Syracuse, UCLA, Texas, Penn State and the University of North Carolina. During the event, students competed against one another in a series of physical and mental challenges, such as volleyball, basketball and classroom trivia. At the end of the day, scores were tallied to rank their performances.
