In December, students in the select chorus, chamber ensemble, and band ensemble from Shore Road School performed musical selections for patients on the rehabilitation floor at Nassau County Medical Center. The student-musicians played and sang holiday classics to bring cheer to patients, who sang and clapped along to some of their favorite holiday songs.

Additionally, fourth-grade orchestra and band students at Winthrop Avenue School caroled throughout their building, performing classics such as “Jingle Bells,” “Dreidel” and “Jolly Old Saint Nicholas” prior to their vacation to spread holiday cheer.
