Educators from the Heckscher Museum of Art visited students at Bellmore’s Shore Road School and brought with them a curriculum-based opportunity to explore art and creative expression. During the visit, Joy Weiner and Kristina Seekamp, Director and Associate Director of Education at the Heckscher Museum of Art, showed the students famous campaign posters throughout history and discussed their significance in their respective elections. Following the presentation, students were asked to create their own campaign posters, including a self-portrait and slogan.
