C.A. Reinhard students donned their capes and masks as they put their Leadership Principles and Core Values into action during the school’s annual Superhero Leader Day.

Dressed as their favorite superhero, students walked through the main hallway decorated with balloons, listened to inspiring music and channeled their own leader powers. In addition to writing about the person at school they believe is a superhero, teachers and staff were also celebrated for the superhero leadership powers that each one of them possess.

Principal Patricia Castine asked the students to think about the Leadership Principles and Core Values they demonstrate each day that give them superhero powers. “Superheroes are fictional characters who remind us, that in order to be a leader, we must have integrity, dedication and thinking power,” she said. “It is important that we work hard to let our own special superpowers come out.”

Ms. Castine added that this fun-filled day exhibits how students have learned to internalize the district’s Leadership principles and Core values, as well as recognize the leadership powers each one of them possess.
