It was an eventful and exciting fall season for the third graders in Samantha Seith’s third grade class at Winthrop Avenue.

During a lesson writing personal narratives, students showed dedication as they worked through the writing process of prewriting, drafting, revising, editing and publishing. The class brainstormed meaningful memories, such as going somewhere special with family or friends, a favorite birthday or a favorite day at school. To celebrate, the students shared their final written piece with their classmates.

The class also wrote spooky stories during the month of October. The students worked hard on this creative writing piece in which they created their own characters and determined what the plot, problem and solution of their story would be.
