To culminate their genre study of biographies, third-graders in Elisa Braverman and Annie Craine’s class researched and wrote biography reports on famous individuals, including English primatologist, ethologist, anthropologist, and UN Messenger of Peace Jane Goodall, author Eric Carle and former NY Islander Mike Bossy. The cap off the unit, the students created a poster costume to ‘wear,’ which according to Mrs. Braverman, the students “loved showing off!”
