Bellmore Public Schools students showed thanks to the board of education and celebrated Winthrop Avenue School’s upcoming 100th anniversary during the Nov. 21 meeting.

Reflecting the dancing trends of the 1920s, students performed a Charleston dance in dedication to trustees. In the board room, Winning Star Leaders presented a painting they created which honors Winthrop’s 100th birthday. Additionally, the board received thanks from building administrators, teachers, and parents during the meeting.
