Everything added up to 100 at Charles A. Reinhard Early Childhood Center in the Bellmore Public School District on Feb. 10 as Rising Stars celebrated the 100th day of school.

There was no shortage of fun to be had during this centennial-themed day, starting with the exciting cascading of hundreds of cereal boxes brought in by students for donation. Outside of their classrooms, students cheered on the domino of cereal boxes as they fell. Number one through 100 as well as 100 sight words were also hidden throughout the school for sharp eyes to find, and various math activities challenged students to find 100 as an answer. Students also wore homemade shirts and clothing that featured 100 items.
