Second graders in the Rising Star Chorus at Reinhard Early Childhood Center in the Bellmore Public School District dazzled their peers during their space-themed concert on May 19.
The second grade Rising Star Chorus, led by music teacher Joanna Rocco, performed catchy songs that featured choreographed moves in fancy outfits. They sang songs that were out of this world, including “I Think My School’s a Spaceship,” “Sky Full of Stars,” “I Don’t Want to Live on the Moon,” and “Planet Rock.” Choreography was coordinated by Mallory Aronoff, while Michelle Block assisted second graders in creating solar system art that was displayed throughout the auditorium.
