Select Shore Road School students in the Bellmore School District recently took on the important task of helping shape their daily lunch menu.
Shore Road’s Star Polishers participated in a fun and flavorful food-tasting event to help decide potential additions to the school menu. They sampled a variety of items, including hummus with flatbread, muffin tops and dumplings. Students provided thoughtful feedback on each option and loved the hands-on experience. Most importantly, they appreciated having a real voice in decisions that impact their school community. Their input will help guide future menu choices and ensure meals reflect what the students enjoy most.
