The spotlight shined on Reinhard Rising Star Leaders in the Bellmore School District as they rang in the holiday season with songs for their peers and parents on Dec. 18.
Each first grade class gathered on the Reinhard Early Childhood Center stage dressed in festive colors to celebrate the season. Under the direction of music teacher Joanna Rocco, students sang songs that included “Dreidel Dreidel,” “Christmas At Our School” and “Happy New Year.” The performances showcased teamwork and the various skills students learned in music class, such as singing syncopated rhythms while playing an instrument for “Jingle Bells.”
