The creativity of the Bellmore School District’s Star Leaders took center stage as the districtwide art gallery was debuted at Winthrop Avenue School on April 28.

Artwork created by students from throughout the district was proudly displayed in a showcase that mimicked a professional art gallery experience. The event transformed the space into a curated exhibition, complete with framed pieces, artist labels and thoughtfully arranged displays. Families, staff and community members were invited to stroll through the gallery, taking in a wide range of artistic styles and mediums. The gallery highlighted not only the talent of students across the Reinhard Early Childhood Center, Winthrop Avenue School and Shore Road School but also the importance of arts education in fostering creativity, self-expression and confidence at a young age.
