Reinhard’s Class of 2026 moves up to Winthrop

Dressed to impress and sporting bright smiles, the Reinhard Early Childhood Center Class of 2026 reached a milestone as they took to the stage for their moving up ceremony on June 23.

Parents and loved ones were beaming with pride as they watched students shine on stage. Principal KerriAnn Sanpietro commended second graders on their growth and reflected on the values they have learned at Reinhard. “You have discovered that leadership is not being in charge,” she said. “It’s making positive choices, helping each other, showing kindness and giving the best version of yourself every day.”

Rising Star Leaders stepped up to the microphone to unveil their class legacy bench based on the artwork of Jean-Michel Basquiat. Each year, Reinhard second graders leave behind a bench that includes their signatures on the back.

Next, students gave choral performances of the original Bellmore song, “We Are the Stars of Reinhard,” and “Corner of the Sky.” Closing out the ceremony, students and parents watched a commemorative video that recapped the fun had at Reinhard throughout the year.
