Leadership leveled up on the Reinhard Early Childhood Center stage on Oct. 9 as teachers traded their everyday attire for costumes inspired by beloved “Mario Bros.” characters during the annual schoolwide Pep Rally.
The spirited event brought students together for an exciting, interactive experience centered on leadership, teamwork and respect. Dressed as familiar characters from the popular video game franchise, teachers used the colorful world of “Mario” to share meaningful lessons inspired by the district’s Core Values and Leadership Principles. The performance encouraged students to think about what it means to be a leader.
As students stepped toward the auditorium before the event, excitement was built by second graders in the Student Star Polisher Team who cheered them on. Rising Star Leaders were thrilled to see teachers’ creative costumes as their enthusiasm on stage made for a memorable experience.
