To welcome students to the new school year and review the rules of the library, Theresa Ventimiglia, the librarian at Charles A. Reinhard Early Childhood Center, dress as a library dragon and read “The Library Dragon” by Carmen Agra Deedy. The children’s book tells the story of elementary librarian and real dragon Miss Lotta Scales, her burning love for books and her fierce need to protect the books.
