Students at Shore Road School in the Bellmore Public School District worked together throughout the month of December to gather toys to be donated to children in need.
The Shore Road community brought in educational board games and toys for all ages and dropped them off in the collection bin in the school’s front lobby. The collection was picked up by John Theissen of the John Theissen Children’s Foundation on Dec. 15. The toys will be distributed to children in need in time for the holiday season.
