The memories of fourth graders’ time at Winthrop Avenue School were celebrated in grand fashion on June 20 as their moving up was marked with a party.
Fourth grade Winning Star Leaders will soon become Shining Star Leaders at Shore Road School. In the morning, the entire grade participated in an interactive assembly, “The Brain Game.” Later on the school’s field, several games were played including kickball, volleyball and rolling dodgeball. A DJ had students grooving as their favorite songs were played. Each fourth grader had a commemorative shirt which they had covered in signatures from their friends and teachers.
